Working with STAR

STAR welcomes collaboration with radioecologists or scientist from other disciplines (e.g. radiation biology, ecotoxicology, genomics, ecology, modelling). Collaboration can occur via several mechanisms, STAR will:

  • welcome collaboration with laboratories conducting similar research
  • share our knowledge via this website
  • encourage organisations to explore membership of theEuropean Radioecology Alliance
  • hold workshops to obtain input from a diverse array of stakeholders
  • seek students for our radioecology programmes
  • request the input of the international radioecology community in helping develop a Strategic Research Agenda
  • run a number of training courses on different aspects of radioecology
  • request expert assistance in specific scientific disciplines associated with our research

The STAR Network co-ordinator is Tom Hinton (IRSN) who should be contacted for further details on collaboration.
